I am an autodidact artist, but seeking for academic education. Born in 1980 in Kėdainiai, Lithuania, I received a Master in Law degree from Vilnius University, Lithuania, in 2004. Then I practiced for ten years as a lawyer specializing in intellectual property law, competition law, and litigation. Nonetheless, I felt that I could and should be an artist.
The idea of creating art became increasingly important over time. I hung up my court attire and moved with my family to live in Switzerland in 2015. Now I am in Wädenswil, Canton Zürich, where I study and create art. I am married and raise two daughters, therefore I feel, that I can represent many perspectives.
Thank you for visiting my website. Over the last couple of years I made multiple works in different techniques I am still working on publishing them here. Please visit and follow me on my social media for the most recent updates.
Everything begins with life—its spark, its line, and its continuity. My art revolves around this line of life and its interconnected components: womanhood, society, and transparency. These themes are not separate but threads of the same fabric, overlapping, stretching, and shaping our existence.
To see someone clearly is an act of love. It’s a sacrifice of ego and an invitation to connect. But this kind of seeing is rare, and my art seeks to provoke it. A face, a body, a fleeting hue of skin—these are not conclusions but starting points. They are invitations to reconsider, to unlearn, and to see.
I use the tools of my experience—critical thinking, curiosity, and a deep respect for life—to ask questions through art. My work isn’t just about the human body; it’s about what the body carries. It’s about the stereotypes we’ve inherited, the systems that perpetuate them, and the courage to reject them.
Art, for me, is a responsibility—to understand, to question, and to shape the future. It’s not about answers but about the act of looking, of connecting, and of finding the courage to ask: What do you see?
I am a figurative artists and always search for humanity in every artwork that I see. Therefore human body is inevitable in my paintings too. Plants, animals, rivers, winds, and other elements of nature also are inseparable from me and my art. Baltic culture, folklore, and traditional crafts are breaking through my heart and soul onto the canvas.
Every work starts from a pure and beautiful moment from real life. Then I just need some canvas, paper, oil paints, and time. Every painting is performed in a different way, technique, and style. I explore the endless possibilities of painting. The only thing that connects all this verbiage is me.
If you would like to have an artwork made specially just for you, I gladly accept commissions to paint anything you want. Please, do not hesitate to contact me.
I always loved creating for other people. The painting then starts from the finding out more about the client’s personality, preferences, wishes, styles, colors, and more. Usually, I see a creative vision for such person immediately. If you would not like the result, you must not take it. However, until now, nobody has refused.
